A Delegation from the College of Education, Zhejiang University led by Professor Xu Xiaozhou, Dean of the College of Education visited universities and educational institutions in Italy from June 27 to July 8, 2011. Delegation members included Professor Carlo Socol, Co-director of Seeco Educational Research Center, Zhejiang University, Professor Zhang Jianpingk Director of Center of Modern Education Technology, Ms. Chen Hongyu, Director of Office of Personnel, Professor Wang Libing, Department of Education, Dr. Kan Yue, Department of Education, and Mr. Ni Hao, a sophomore in the Department of Education.
    During the stay in Italy, the delegation visited Università di Trento, Università degli studi di Verona, University Centre of Business Administration (CUOA), Universit degli Studi di Padova, Interuniversity Center for Educational Research and Advanced Training (CIRDFA), Università Pontificia Salesiana, Sapienza - Università di Roma, and Università degli studi Roma Tre in order to strengthen cooperation in key fields, such as entrepreneurial education and educational technology. This visit achieved fruitful outcomes in co-sponsored academic conferences, teacher and student exchange, and joint study programs through talks and negotiations with Italian counterparts.
